| ITINERARY Page 1 of 5 Day 1 - Tuesday, Sept. 16th U.S.A. Departure Day You have your choice of flying to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) from one of three gateway cities in the U.S.A., either Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), or New York City (JFK). When your Cathay Pacific flight lands in Hong Kong, it will already be Wednesday morning, Sept. 18th (you lose a day crossing the International Dateline between the U.S.A. and Hong Kong.) Day 2 - Wednesday, Sept. 17th Hong Kong - 1st Stay, Sept. 18th - Sept. 19th When you have cleared customs at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), exit into the arrivals area, and look for your Pacific World host/greeter who will be holding a welcome sign that will look like this: PACIFIC WORLD LTD. WELCOMES The47TravelClub.com After you have cleared customs, your Pacific World host/greeters will arrange for all baggage handling for all airport transfers to and from your hotels while you are in China (including Hong Kong), and Thailand. After your Pacific World host/greeter has collected your luggage for transfer to your hotel, you will be escorted to the shuttle tour bus/van that will take you directly to your hotel in Hong Kong. Please make a mental note to yourself that you do not have to pay any gratuities to airport luggage handlers or hotel luggage handlers in Hong Kong, China, or Thailand. All luggage handling gratuities are already included in your pre-paid, total tour price and will be handled for you on site by your tour guide for that particular day. When you arrive at your hotel in Hong Kong and check-in at the front desk you will receive your "47" Tour Bag with some goodies inside, including your all important "47" name tag which you will want to wear on most occasions. Also included in your "47"Tour Bag will be an abbreviated copy of this ITINERARY that you can refer to daily. Since other members of The47TravelClub.com will be arriving at your Hong Kong hotel earlier or later than you do, there are no tour activities planned for your 1st Hong Kong arrival day. You can relax at your hotel, walk around a little to get acquainted with the location of the restaurants, have an early or late dinner at Panda Cafe (included), and then get a good night's sleep in preparation for your full day tour on Thursday. You will meet all of The47TravelClub.com members on this 18 DAYS -CUSTOMIZED CHINA TOUR at your mandatory Breakfast Meeting in the Panda Cafe, starting promptly at 8:30 a.m. You can have your full breakfast (included) earlier if you want, but be sure to attend the mandatory Breakfast Meeting starting at 8:30 a.m. Don't forget to retrieve your "47" name tag from your "47" Tour Bag and wear the name tag to the Breakfast Meeting so we will know who you are. At the Breakfast Meeting your Pacific World tour guide for the day will make a brief presentation including details about the full day tour, and you will meet the group leader for 18 DAYS - CUSTOMIZED CHINA TOUR, Patrick A. Edwards, C.G.T.O. There will also be a question and answer session at the mandatory Breakfast Meeting -- don't be shy, we want you to be completely comfortable with any tour details that haven't already been adequately explained. After the Breakfast Meeting at Panda Cafe we will board our tour bus for our full day tour of Lantau Island, including Ngong Ping 360. About Ngong Ping 360 Ngong Ping 360, which consists of a cable car journey and a themed village, is one of the must see attractions in Hong Kong. Ngong Ping 360 is conveniently located at Tung Chung on Lantau Island. |
